A BIT ABOUT JENN'S PICKS
At some point, I looked around at my life and thought, "Wait...is this it?"
Between work, chores, family, and everything else on the calendar, I'd lost touch with my joy. I wasn't sad exactly - just...flat. Overwhelmed. Tired in a way sleep couldn't fix. The idea of adding one more thing to my schedule - even something helpful - felt laughable.
But one day, I tried something. Just one small thing. It didn't take long, it wasn't expensive, and - surprisingly - it felt really good. So I tried another. Then something else. Slowly, I started feeling more like myself. Not "fixed" just more me.
And then I started talking about it. With friends. Family. Strangers beside me at my kid's activities. Anyone who'd listen. One friend told me, "I love that you try all these things and just tell me what's worth doing." She picked one thing to try and ended up creating a whole new rhythm for herself. That's when I realized: maybe this isn't just for me. Jenn's Picks is a gentle, slightly curious corner of the internet for people who want to feel better - but don't have time to burn sage and journal for two hours every morning. I try things. I share what helps. You pick what fits.
